Are You Wondering Why You Are Not Succeeding in Social Network Marketing?
The hottest trend right now is using social networking to gain some ground in your business. It is what I do. And it is not only for those selling stuff online.
Social networking can be used to create relationships with REAL people and capture prospect and new clients.
Whether you sell Real Estate, Insurance, Financial Planning or Stocks; you can benefit from this very powerful tool.
I have been attempting social networking for a couple of years now. One thing I have come to learn is that it is not something you''dabble" in. You really need to spend time writing blogs, making new friends on Facebook and MySpace, tweeting on twitter and posting in forums. Not to mention writing down your expertise in small articles called ezines for others to find.
I would recommend starting out small and getting used to one thing at a time then you can create a system to where you practically breez through the process.
Perhaps start with Facebook or MySpace. I think Facebook has a little more popularity right now but contrary to popular belief, MySpace is not dead! Use it too. Start adding friends with similar interests or that you think would be in need of your services. Join groups the pertain to your field and most importantly, show everyone that you are an expert! You know what you are talking about. You know more than the average person. Show them your expertise.
Once you get the hang of those types of sites, start a blog. Post valuable content, not fluff, stuff people can really use. This will keep your prospects coming for more and further establish you as an expert.
Now when you start writing a blog people are not going to automatically find it. You are going to have to advertise it and drive traffic towards it. Post a link to it on your MySpace and Facebook. Post it on the walls in the groups your are part of if allowed. Tweet it on Twitter. Put a link to your blog in the signature of your forum posts.
Another excellent thing to do if your blog post is relevant is to copy it into an ezine article and have it posted on some of them. They even have signatures where you can post links either back to your blog or to a lead generation site.
Use social bookmarking sites such as stumble upon and yahoo buzz to promote your blog posts. Comment on other peoples blogs.
One thing however that is frowned upon and not very cool is blatant spamming all of the time. Don't just post links to your website everywhere. Show people you are a real person. Talk about what is going on in your life.
Just be yourself. Let everything you say come naturally. It does not have to be perfect. You are human. Let people see that in you!
To all of your success!
